YUM!!! While we were at the Old Oak Festival at Tusculum University, the friendly owners asked if we would like to try some of their BBQ sauce. Umm YES please! If you’re like me and you like to try every BBQ sauce you find, then this one is worth it! Their BBQ sauce is not like your ordinary BBQ. Papoo has a perfect blend of sweet and hot to give it a unique flavor. I highly recommend trying it. Just got out first bottle today and it’s almost empty. Thanks guys!

Kevin London and Elina Stikute are the folks behind Papoo’s BBQ Sauce. It all started when Kevin tried to get Elina to try his father’s secret family BBQ sauce. She told him that she hated all BBQ sauces; they were either too smoky, tasted burnt, or she just didn’t like them. It took years of him trying to get her to try the BBQ sauce until finally, she said, “Fine, I will try the sauce, tell you it is terrible, and we can move on from the BBQ sauce.” When she tried the sauce, she couldn’t hide her smile, said it was fantastic, and that they needed to sell the sauce. They went to Jack London, Kevin’s father, to ask his permission to sell the sauce. Kevin’s kids call Jack “Papoo,” and Papoo’s BBQ Sauce was started!
